Out now on 11 December 2025, ‘Tierra’ is the latest release from MÖM, a project carving out space in melodic techno through detailed sound design and a clear sense of atmosphere. The producer’s rise gained traction earlier this year when ‘Circles’ won Best Original Song at the International Music Video Awards, opening the door to broader recognition. With this new single, MÖM builds on that momentum and strengthens the project’s identity as one that blends electronic craft with a strong visual imagination.
The track builds from a tight rhythmic core and layers of desert-leaning textures that slowly shift shape. Instead of relying on big breaks, ‘Tierra’ grows with quiet intensity. Deep pulses anchor the low-end while rolling synth lines move like long stretches of open road. The influence of the “futuristic western” concept comes through in the contrast between metallic tones and softer melodic threads. The sound takes its influences from the rocky Utah landscapes, to the volcanic ridges of the Canary Islands. Nothing about the progression feels rushed. It moves with intention, showing MÖM’s preference for motion that builds its own gravity.
A video filmed on the volcanic island of Fuerteventura will follow and extend the track’s themes of isolation, travel, and the pull of vast natural space. The release hints at upcoming work that continues to use the environment as both inspiration and structure. ‘Tierra’ lands as a focused piece of the world MÖM has been shaping, suggesting a larger creative arc is forming behind it.
