Founded in 2024 by Northern Cold, Seattle-based EONS has rapidly established itself as a label, podcast, and event series focused on raw, dark rave music rooted in hard techno, schranz, acid, and trance. The label’s early releases have consistently delivered innovative singles, EPs, and remixes that defy genre boundaries. This past Friday, EONS released Cold Harbor, its debut various artists compilation, presenting a 12-track collection that encapsulates the label’s core vision.
Curated by Northern Cold and new A&R member IN_DUAL, who also handled mastering, the project highlights the label’s range while maintaining intensity. The tracks feature heavy kicks, aggressive percussion, searing acid sequences, and trance-inspired tension, complemented by in-house visuals from Northern Cold Visuals. This lineup is designed for extended sets and powerful sound systems.
Cold Harbor’s primary strength is its cohesion. Despite contributions from multiple artists, the compilation maintains a consistent thread of dark, propulsive energy.
